INS is an up and coming, dynamic company headquartered in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights. A fun place to work, INS is changing the landscape of Manufacturing Automation. INS is looking to expand it's engineering team with a talented and motivated individual who will fill the Application Engineer role. This position is to troubleshoot and implement manufacturing related applications.

• 5+ years experience supporting automation software.
• Experience working with either iFIX, Wonderware or similar platforms.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Coding skills in VBA or other a plus.
• Team Player. Good verbal and written communication skills.
• BSCS/EE or similar experience.

Application Engineering position doing pre-sales engineering support, product technical support, application support, and projects using the technologies sold by Industrial Network Systems.  Those include the GE Proficy Automation Products (iFix, Historian, Portal, Plant Applications, Cimplicity, and others), SAP xMii, and other products that can be found at www.ins3.com.  Experience with SCADA, PLCs, Historians a plus but not required.  Programming and web skills a plus.

This is a full-time engineering position that will be located in the INS corporate office in Mt. Prospect.  Blue Cross, HSA, 401K, and many other benefits.
