Dream Report Fundamentals

Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX Fundamentals
The Proficy iFIX Fundamentals course is designed to provide a good working knowledge of iFIX. All major features are covered, from project configuration to data acquisition and visualization. Valuable hands-on lab exercises are provided to guide students through the building and modification of an HMI/SCADA application from top to bottom.
Who should attend?
This course is designed for process, automation or instrumentation engineers and system integrators who will be developing, configuring and using applications on an iFIX system.
Are there any prerequisites?
Participants should have a working knowledge of Windows operating systems. Control system exposure and experience is recommended.

The course is intended to provide the student a base level of proficiency using some of the product’s more advanced features. The student will become familiar with some of the tools and concepts available for optimizing and troubleshooting iFIX.

This course is principally designed for process, automation, or instrumentation engineers and system integrators who will be developing, configuring, and using applications created with iFIX.
Are there any prerequisites?
Completion of Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX Fundamentals course (44A728312-154) is a must! Participants should have a working knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and/or Windows 10 operating systems. Familiarity with relational databases and VBA would be helpful, but not required.

The Proficy Historian Development course is designed to provide the student with a good working knowledge of Proficy Historian. It is intended for new users, however, the material in this course assumes prior knowledge of GE Intelligent Platforms software. The course includes lab time for configuring and applying the Proficy Historian software to process applications.

This course is designed for process, automation, or instrumentation engineers and system integrators who will be developing, configuring, and using applications on a Proficy Historian system.
Are there any prerequisites?

Proficy Plant Applications Fundamentals

Course Description:
This training will teach the student how to configure and maintain Plant Applications software. This course provides an entry-level introduction to fundamental Plant Applications capabilities and applications. This includes learning to configure the Plant Model, Products, Production Events, Variables, User Displays and User Security.
Students will also be taught Report Server Administration and Web Client functionality, how to extract data from the Plant Applications database using the Excel Add-In and display results through the Plant Applications Web interface. Valuable hands-on lab exercises are provided which guide students through the configuration of the out-of-the-box capabilities of Proficy Plant Applications.
