On March 17, 2025, GE Vernova’s Proficy software business became Velotic, an independent industrial software company backed by TPG. Velotic combines the GE Vernova Proficy suite, including iFIX, CIMPLICITY, Proficy Historian, and Plant Applications.

The reality is it depends. In some cases over the years you could run the old software on newer operating systems, but with Windows 10, it needs to be replaced or upgraded. INS3 has over 25 years experience upgrading our customer base on the GE Vernova Proficy platform (now Velotic), and we get you budgetary numbers and options fast. Most of the INS3 engineering team has over 15 years experience with iFIX, Historian, and the broader GE Vernova Proficy product lines.
